Pennies for Polio - by Liam

So we've got the idea for Pennies for Polio on google when we saw the penny and we decided to make a SMART ideas thing about Polio. We came up with good ideas. Because it was the last day of the pennies. Pennies aren't that important. And we decided to collect pennies for Polio. So Polio is a disease. It's only in four countries: Chad, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Pakistan. In all the other countries in the world, it's been cured! It takes sixty cents to make one kid better!

    i am going to make a post on my blog and in the spring im going to sell lemonade and cookies and some other things for just 2 or 3 pennys!

      That's a nice idea, but maybe you should sell the treats for a little more since we want to raise a lot of money, don't you think?

    you all know how inportant getting rid of polio is ,it's amessage that we really want evry one
    to know .so my idea is for the stop-motion festival ,to do a movie about"pennies for polio. "

    I have a good idea for how to donate so this is how. So we all bring in 10 pennies or more and you put the 10 pennies in a jar and when we have 3 dollars of pennies [each medicine is 65 cents] And we will donate all the money to cure polio.

    I think that it would be cool if we...
    sell copys of the room 209 songs for 5 pennies each!
    We could sell them around the school!

      I never even thought of that myself!
      I think that is a really good idea, but maybe we should sell them for a little more since we want to raise a lot of many, What do you think??
      And maybe we could sell them even out of the school(craft fair, booth outside, around the school like you said, Etc)

    Great idea Liam! Let's start by collecting all the pennies lying around our house and bringing them to school! Maybe other kids could do the same?
