It is wonderful to see the groups of students cooperating and collaborating as they work on their Mathtastic Centres.
Today, my cousin Emeline, who wants to be a teacher, came in for her first day of volunteering. She will come in every Friday and we are so happy to have her coming in! She was a big help for Mathtastic! As were the seven parent volunteers that came in today! We have such a great team of helpers in Room 209.
Some of these centres have a LOT of work, but the wonderful Mathematicians in Room 209 and Room 312 can face up to any challenge creatively and work their way through!
I got to work with this group today on Problem Solving.
