The Land of Stories by Jack

We've been reading a book called "The Land of Stories". It's about a brother named Conner and sister named Alex who are very different. The sister is very into fairy tales and the brother is the exact opposite. Conner often falls asleep in class but Alex is always very alert and answers practically all of the questions. They used to own a house that they loved and one day, their father perished and they didn't have the money to afford the house that they were living in. So, they bought a new house just up the street that was nowhere near as nice as their old house.

That's pretty much all we know about the story so far.
