The thing that stuck with me today is our new student teacher. I think she is really nice and I think it will be really helpful to have her in our class so we have extra help and another teacher. Also starting the science projects stuck with me, I am excited to finish it and present it to the class, I learned that energy does not weaken, but it can transform, like if you have a fire, the energy in the fire will start to leave, but not weaken the energy will just transform into another form of energy and the fire itself will weaken from the lack of energy! Today Genius Hour stuck with me. I loved our groups topic of making Brain Bubble for brain breaks(inspired by Gonoodle). I liked learning how to make a free website and I'm excited to see how it goes! mustard Tracker also stuck with me since it's nice to have all your progress and due dates on one page,it helped me a lot. What stuck with me was bioghraphey because it tote me how to ask questions with out getting off topic

magritte art and my positive attitude magritte art is so much fun and i love how we got to choose what our project is also beanie wars yeah i know we haven't played it yet but i know it will be fun and i'm re-reading the elite and i'm so exited for march break or at least the pa day before it because i might be going to my friends house and having a gross math test championship and then being crazy people (or just being ourselves) and i'm so exited but i don't even know what i a'm exited for !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today when I was cleaning out the degu cage i learned that you have to clean out the edges and really get in far when you are cleaning it out because lot's of gunky stuff gets locked in so me and clara learned it the hard way when we cleaned it out because it smelt so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so we learned that that's what happens when you don't clean it out.

Today the biography discussion stuck with me.I liked it when we had to ask 4 questions to a partner we did not truly know.I found it tricky to ask some of the questions without them picking up what your asking abouts "has to"

Today the music show what you know stuck with me.Changing a song into C was a very tricky task which I found fun . I also liked WITS and making little skits with our WITS buddies.

the music test. it was really hard, but I like having a challenge once in a while! but some of it I didn't really get though. I'm better with actually playing chords on the ukulele rather than theory.

What stuck with me was the music show-what-you-know. I knew most of the answers, and I especially thank Owen for using his own time to play with us more during music. And not just more like 5 - 10 minutes. He stayed nearly 20 minutes!

In the days of the fur traders, the Métis earned a special Cree nickname: "o-tee-paym-soo-wuk," which means "their own boss." They were known for being proud hunters and legendary trailblazers.

Métis History

The Métis were children born from relationships between Aboriginal mothers and European settler fathers. They earned their Cree nickname, “their own boss,” because of their independence and cultural pride, combining their Aboriginal and European backgrounds into a unique cultural identity.
They became trailblazers in the fur trade, adapting European technology to the wilderness and innovating new trade routes. And because of their unique cultural background, they became central to the relationships between settlers and Aboriginal populations.

The Métis are considered to be a unique culture on their own, not simply a mix of First Nations and European settler backgrounds. However, despite hundreds of years of history as a rich, complex culture, the Métis were not recognized as a distinct Aboriginal people until 1982.

What Stuck with You Today?

Skating.

I learned that we had to install the OCDSB network.

What stuck with me today was skating because it was a good exercise and its a little practice before my hockey game tonight

What stuck with me today was skating. I think it was really fun. I hope we are going to go skating again soon.

The skating stuck with me today because it was really fun and tiring.

The reading buddies. I really loved how we could read whatever book we wanted, as many as we want for free, and give books to needy children! It was awesome!

Today what stuck with me the most today is skating. I really liked skating and I think we should try better next time to be more respectful to our volunteers and our teacher (Shellie). I really enjoyed the skating. Next time I want to skate more than talking and skating slowly.

I had lots of fun reading books on we give books with my reading buddy. I think it is better than reading from a normal book because there is a big variety of books.

The Rene Magritte slideshow stuck with me. and also the buddy reading on we give books, its so much better and funner (yes, I just said 'funner'.)

What stuck with me was doing reading buddies with we give books, it was awesome, my buddie was reading more, and also the fact that every book we read, we donate a book to a child in need and I think that is so cool, you read a book, and help others around the world in need!
